How to get rid of acne? Effective Care
People with acne should primarily focus on gently and regularly cleansing their face. The main thing is that the stages of skin care should be maximally adapted to its needs, carried out systematically and using appropriate cosmetic products.
Acne skin cleansing
The basic element of acne skin care is the regulation of the sebaceous glands and exfoliation of the upper layer of the epidermis - getting rid of dead cells and impurities. It is necessary to wash your face both in the morning and in the evening - every day without exception. The morning ritual will cleanse the epidermis of dust, excess sebum and sweat particles that have accumulated on the surface all night. Washing your face in the evening is also a make-up remover.
Acne skin toning
The next step in acne skin care is toning. It is aimed at restoring the hydrolipid balance of the epidermis, the proper pH level and supporting the microbiome, that is, beneficial microorganisms living in tissues. Toning is recommended for all skin types, but for problematic and acne-prone skin, it is a must. In addition, it will facilitate the penetration of the active ingredients of cosmetics into the skin.
Moisturizing skin with acne
Undoubtedly, moisturizing the skin is also an important step. However, in the case of acne-prone skin, this must be due to the regulation of the sebaceous glands. Therefore, the care products used should not only deeply moisturize the structure of the epidermis, but also limit the overproduction of sebum. So, when it comes to cosmetics, which one should you choose for acne-prone skin?
After each daily cleansing and toning of the skin, apply serum and cream. Cosmetics should have a high moisturizing ability. Look for hyaluronic acid and glycerin in their composition. Avoid potentially comedogenic substances that clog pores. These include lanolin, mineral oils, and some vegetable oils. Properly hydrated skin regenerates better and controls sebum production - it does not have to activate protective mechanisms, so the work of the sebaceous glands remains at a neutral level.
UV protection and antioxidant
When it comes to skin care with acne, one should not forget about proper protection from sun rays (not only in summer) and pollution. The epidermis must always be protected from exposure to UV rays, which irritate it, accelerate its aging and weaken its resistance to external factors, including pathogens (often causing acne).
