There are different types of facial peels on the cosmetic market. Mechanical peels (coarse and fine) and acid peels are the most popular.

Exfoliating particles and acids, unfortunately, are not suitable for all skin types. The best option, then, is enzymatic peels, which provide gentle exfoliation without the risk of irritation.

Enzyme peels - what skin type?

The best solution for women with sensitive or problematic skin (for example, with acne) are enzymatic peels, which effectively exfoliate the epidermis, but are very gentle on the skin. They can be used by both young and mature people.

Enzyme peels are a universal choice for all skin types, but they are supposed to work best for sensitive skin, as well as for people with acne and problematic skin. People with couperose skin should also be interested in it.

How does an enzyme peel work?

Enzymes are substances of natural (mostly vegetable) origin, which are used to gently exfoliate the epidermis. In the case of enzymatic peels, we are talking about a "point" action, aimed mainly at dead cells. The particles act only on the outermost areas of the skin, so they do not irritate the skin.

How to use the enzyme peel?

Pour the necessary amount of enzyme powder and mix it with a little warm water, then apply the resulting consistency to your face with gentle massaging movements.

The benefits of enzyme peeling:

  • Suitable for all skin types (even sensitive skin).
  • Rarely causes irritation - it is the most delicate exfoliating cosmetic product.
  • It can be used all year round.
  • Reduces the appearance of pores and the number of black dots.
  • Gives your skin a healthy glow.
