These are different hydroxy acids that have an exfoliating effect. AHAs include glycolic, lactic and mandelic acids. Cleanse your face as usual and avoid harsh mechanical peels beforehand. The combination of both peels will irritate and overburden the skin.
Now take a pad from the jar and gently rub it over your face, neck and décolleté without rubbing your skin. Be sure to avoid the mouth and eye area.
Now you can leave the peel on the skin (depending on the manufacturer's instructions) or wash it off, letting it work for three to five minutes. If the acid stays on the skin longer than indicated by the manufacturer, it can lead to skin problems.
