The basis of the formula, instead of the usual water, is 85% snail secretion filtrate, consisting of water and mucin. Snail mucin, enriched with glycoprotein (a complex protein), has unique properties and is a powerful antioxidant, protects cells from destruction and premature fading, evens complexion and removes redness and inflammation. Mucin has an intense moisturizing effect, helps to restore and strengthen the protective functions of the skin.

The second main active ingredient of Azulene is a natural component of essential oil obtained from chamomile flowers.
