COSRX Comfort Ceramide Cream Mist The unique composition of the mist is saturated with a complex of 6 types of Ceramides (10,000ppm), which work to strengthen and reduce the permeability of the skin barrier. Being natural lipids Ceramides together with other fatty acids form the lipid barrier layer of the skin. It is they who fill the "gaps" in the damaged protective layer, making it more durable, due to which moisture is retained for a longer time in the upper layer of the epidermis and its evaporation is prevented.

The composition also includes Panthenol (after being absorbed into the skin it turns into B5 provitamin), which has a deep and long-lasting moisturizing effect. How does this happen? Panthenol has the property of hygroscopicity (attraction and absorption of moisture) and high permeability, due to which it is able to penetrate into the deep layers of the epidermis, "taking away" water molecules. As a result, the skin becomes much more hydrated. It makes the skin soft and smooth and, in addition, has a soothing and wound healing effect.
